I’m back! After two weeks out of the office and on the road, it feels good to be home in front of the microphone!
Today’s show is a bit more personal. I share with you some of the lessons I’ve learned over the last two weeks from two very different but very complementary events.
I spent the first week in New Orleans at #FinCon14 which is a conference of financial bloggers and other media. I learned a lot and met some awesome people. I share with you some of the lessons, specifically focused on financial media and more generally about conferences.
I then drove to Pennsylvania and spent a week finishing the residency for my MSFS degree. That was also an awesome experience. Totally different than FinCon but very informative as well.
Finally, at the end of the show I share with you how I hacked my two-week, 3,200 mile roadtrip for a total of $600 for food and lodging and transportation and parking. (That doesn’t include the conference fee and course fees.)
